01About these terms

These terms form a binding agreement between you (or the business you represent) and Welcome Business Solutions Ltd. If you are using the service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.

02The service

We provide data intelligence APIs — including address lookup, email and phone validation, fraud checks and credit risk scoring. Results are provided to support your own decisions and do not constitute advice or a guarantee of any particular outcome.

03Acceptable use

You agree to use the service lawfully and not to:

• Submit data you do not have a lawful basis to process, or use results in a way that breaches data protection law.
• Use the credit risk outputs as the sole basis for an automated decision where the law requires human involvement or a right to explanation.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, resell or sublicense the APIs except as expressly permitted.
• Exceed agreed rate limits, probe our systems, or otherwise disrupt the service.

04API keys and accounts

You are responsible for keeping your API keys and account credentials secure, and for all activity that occurs under them. Notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorised use.

05Fees and billing

Paid plans are billed according to your selected plan and usage. Charges are based on metered API calls and any agreed minimums. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

06Service levels and availability

We aim to provide a reliable, high-availability service in line with any service level commitments in your plan. We may carry out maintenance and will use reasonable efforts to minimise disruption.

07Intellectual property

We retain all rights in the platform, APIs, software and underlying data models. You retain rights in the data you submit and the results returned to you, subject to these terms and any third-party data licences.

08Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited as set out in your plan or commercial agreement. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

09Changes and termination

We may update these terms or the service from time to time. We will give reasonable notice of material changes. Either party may terminate in line with the plan terms; on termination your right to use the service ends.
